The brake disc is the hardest-working part of a racing car: it heats, it glows, it takes everything. Still on its base, drilled right through, it becomes a dial of absolute sobriety.

The face of the disc is machined then drilled to the pattern of a competition rotor. The contrast of finishes does everything: the track is matt, the rim polished, the hub bolt heads lacquered in the chosen colour.
The central hub, with its eight exposed bolts, holds the bezel and the dial. At the foot of the disc, the linking piece carries the B.R.M signature and the numbered plate, and meets the drilled base.
The model's internal name, DDF, is that of a chronograph family already in the manufacture's catalogue: the clock and the watches share the same original drawing.
